During the early constructions of the building, an old military map showed that the building’s outline was there in 1780. Later, on the maps that were made in 1840, the current form and design of the building can already be clearly identified.
From the 1900s, several photos and descriptions of the building were made, according to which the building was replaced by apartments, shops, and even the waiting room and ticket office of the Danube ferry station. From the 2000s, the function and technical condition of the building did not reflect the possibilities and values of the house. In recent years, it stood almost unused and abandoned.
Based on the value judgment of the investors, the Dunakavics XIII Apartmanhotel building deserves much more, therefore, taking advantage of the proximity of the Danube and the city center, the owners aimed to create a high-quality accommodation with a unique interior design, by preserving the shape of the building in honor of the building
